Description: As a consequence of fire in the facilities of the Jacuzzi Ship of Mexico, in the CPA Business Center Park; approximately half of the ship presented structural damage.
The Inspection of EPGC consisted of the extraction of concrete cores and revision of verticality and plomeo in walls; The technical review of pavements through the extraction of concrete cores and the inspection of warps in control and construction joints; The Technical Review of the structure through surveys to verify the verticality, plomeo and flambeum in columns, revision of lateral bending by flexotorsión or fluence of beams in main frames and finally the determination of the integrity of the steel by means of the Rockwell method with portable durometer in columns and main frames (non-destructive testing).
In these situations or similar, it is essential to have a quality control laboratory to guarantee the effectiveness of the materials and their use, in order to achieve the adequate reconstruction of the industrial building.
